Quantico To Series, “Beauty” & “Dominion” End

ABC has picked up freshman series “Quantico” for a full season. The series ranks as Sunday’s top broadcast program in the key demo, and the premiere pulled in 12.2 million total viewers.

The FBI thriller, starring the likes of Priyanka Chopra and Rick Cosnett, will get at least six and up to nine additional episodes which brings its total up to between nineteen and twenty-two for the season.

The news isn’t so good for The CW’s fantasy drama “Beauty and the Beast” which has been cancelled. The Kristin Kreuk and Jay Ryan-led show will wrap itself up with the upcoming thirteen-episode fourth season which will air in early-mid 2016.

The recent third season averaged only around 879,000 total viewers an episode.

Also not faring well is Syfy’s angel drama “Dominion” which has also been axed effective immediately. The Chris Egan-led series, a sequel to the 2010 film “Legion,” recently returned with a second season which lost 45% in total viewership and fell to 900,000 total viewers per episode.
