British actors Agyness Deyn (“Clash of the Titans”), Richard Coyle (“Prince of Persia”), Bronson Webb (“The Tudors”) and Paul Kaye (“Match Point”) have joined the cast of the English-language remake of 1996 Danish thriller “Pusher” for Vertigo Films reports Variety.
The story follows the life of a big-time drug pusher in London whose life becomes consumed by his dangerous and violent lifestyle. He soon becomes paralysed with the fear of knowing there is no way of preventing his inevitable fate.
Spanish helmer Luis Prieto is on board to direct while the original’s helmer, Nicolas Winding Refn (“Bronson”), will executive produce. Shooting kicks off May 8th in the UK.
