Purge, “Rover,” “Railway,” “Laggies” Set Dates

Various new dates have been announced for several upcoming limited releases and non-tentpole films. All dates are for this year:

Richard Shepard’s crime comedy “Dom Hemingway” will score a U.S. release on April 2nd.

The Weinstein Company has announced April 4th release dates for both David Charhon’s crime comedy “On the Other Side of the Tracks” starring Omar Sy, and the French sketch comedy “The Players” starring Jean Dujardin.

The Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth-led biographical World War II-period drama “The Railway Man” is slated for release on April 11th.

Universal Pictures has pushed back “The Purge: Anarchy” a month from its original June 20th release to a July 18th bow. It will now open against “Jupiter Ascending” and “Planes: Fire and Rescue”.

Also scoring a July 18th release is David Michod’s post-apocalyptic drama “The Rover” starring Guy Pearce and Robert Pattinson, and Zach Braff’s Kickstarter-funded “Wish I Was Here”.

Finally, Lynn Shelton’s drama “Laggies” starring Keira Knightley and Sam Rockwell has scored a September 26th opening date.
