In a break from tradition, Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that their upcoming PlayStation Showcase at E3 2018 will adopt a very different approach this year.
Previous years saw numerous publishers and developers come to the stage to preview multiple games and peripherals, some were PlayStation exclusives and some were third-party publishers.
This year, the focus is being restricted to offer an in-depth look at four specific titles – all PS4 exclusives. The four? “Death Stranding” from Kojima Productions, “Ghost of Tsushima” from Sucker Punch, “Marvel’s Spider-Man” from Insomniac Games, and “The Last of Us Part II” from Naughty Dog.
Only “Spider-Man” has a set date, but it’s expected the other three will get release dates during the presentation. There will also be announcements from third-party publishers and independent developers that are working on projects for PlayStation, but restricted to just announcements.
Fans around the world can watch the presentation unfold online at Live.PlayStation.com on Monday, June 11th 6pm US-PST.
