Netflix has released the trailer for the fifth season of “BoJack Horseman,” the streaming giant’s animated comedy series about a self-destructive, self-hating anthropomorphic horse actor in a show that has been widely dubbed one of the most accurate representations of depression, anxiety, and mental illness ever made.
In the new season, BoJack deals with his insecurities and instabilities yet again as he stars in a new TV series. Will Arnett, Alison Brie, Amy Sedaris, Paul F. Tompkins, and Aaron Paul are all back for the new season which debuts on Netflix on September 14th.
Also today, Amazon has retooled the feature-length documentary “Pistorius” into a four-part true crime doco series. It’s keeping the same name with plans to release the project globally via its Prime Video service this Thursday.
The streaming giant has released the trailer for it today with the show exploring the case of the South African Paralympian runner who killed his model girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in her home in Pretoria in 2013. Filmmaker Vaughan Sivell has secured access to key players in the subsequent trial which saw Pistorius jailed.
