AMC Networks has renewed Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s series adaptation of the acclaimed comic “Preacher” for a fourth season which will shift production from New Mexico to Australia early next year.
Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga and Joseph Gilgun are expected to reprise their roles of Jesse, Tulip and Cassidy respectively in the new episodes. No word if any other characters like Pip Torrens’ Herr Starr, Noah Taylor’s Adolf Hitler, Graham McTavish’s Saint of Killers and others will return.
The series follows a West Texas preacher, his badass ex-girlfriend and an Irish vampire as they embark on a road trip to find God and are thrust into a twisted supernatural battle. The first season was mostly set in one town, the second moved around but was mainly in New Orleans, and the third kicked off in Jesse’s old home – a plantation in Louisiana.
