Sony PlayStation’s “Powers,” the first live action scripted TV series from that division, has announced an official launch date of March 10th with the initial three episodes to be made available that day on the service.
Based on the comic of the same name, the gritty show follows two homicide detectives who solve murders involving superpowered criminals. Brian Michael Bendis co-created the comic and serves as executive producer on the series which reportedly cost around $2 million per episode.
Bends confirmed earlier today that filming on all ten episodes of the series has just wrapped with the remaining episodes now in the midst of post-production. The full season will be free to members of PlayStation Plus, individual episodes will also be sold on the PlayStation Store with new episodes to debut each Tuesday.
