Two scripts that made the 2010 Black List have been picked up over the weekend.
First up, Darius Films has optioned Chris Rubeo’s “Point A” reports Risky Biz Blog.
An unconventional love story between a 35-year-old magazine writer and the subject of his newest piece: a witty, wise-beyond-her-years, teenage video blogger.
Nicholas Tabarrok will produce the film with indie filmmaker Rubeo (“Hale Bopp”).
Meanwhile, Sierra/Affinity is developing and financing Brooks Mclaren’s action/thriller script “How It Ends” says Variety.
The story centers around an expecting father on a dangerous cross-country journey home after an apocalypse strikes. Paul Schiff and Tai Duncan will produce.
