Sony’s game-streaming service PlayStation Now is currently available only on Sony devices such as PlayStation consoles and Bravia TVs, but that will change next year.
Gamespot reports that Sony intends to make PlayStation Now available on third-party devices, beginning with ‘select’ Samsung Smart TVs in the United States and Canada. The PS Now will be available as an app through the Samsung Smart Hub.
PS Now on Samsung TVs is expected to offer “all functionality of the service,” including the ability to earn trophies, play games online, and save progress to the cloud. You will however, need a DualShock 4 controller.
People will be able to try out the PS Now on Samsung TVs at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next month.
