Pixar Duo Rewrite “Tron: Legacy”

“The Incredibles” director Brad Bird and “Toy Story 3” screenwriter Michael Arndt apparently helped out penning script changes for reshoots on “Tron: Legacy” for Disney Pictures says Entertainment Weekly.

Director Joseph Kosinski screened an early cut of the film at Pixar in March, afterwards Disney hired the pair to work with the film’s original writers, Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, on six days of reshoots which took place last month to help beef up the character and emotional elements of the story.

Sean Bailey, a former producer on the project who left it a few months back to become Disney’s president of production, says that “Tron: Legacy is very much Joseph Kosinski’s vision… what I give Joe and the filmmaking team immense credit for, is this was all born out of how do we give the fans the best movie we can. We were very fortunate that Pixar wanted to play a part in it.”
