Singer/model and YouTube sensation Pia Mia is in talks to join the cast of the film adaptation of Anna Todd’s young adult novel “After”.
Josephine Langford is set to star as a ‘good girl’ who embarks on a journey of self-discovery and sexual awakening upon entering college, where she meets a brooding rebel (Hero Fiennes Tiffin). The original story is based on a piece of Harry Styles fan fiction (akin to the way “Fifty Shades of Grey” was inspired by “Twilight” erotic fiction).
Mia is nearing a deal to play Tristan, a character that was originally a male in the book and has been gender-switched for the film. Swen Temmel also stars.
Jenny Gage is directing from a script by Susan McMartin with filming to begin next week in Atlanta.
