Photos: Tom Hardy As Al Capone In “Fonzo”

Josh Trank’s long in the works film about gangster Al Capone’s final days, “Fonzo,” is currently filming with Tom Hardy taking on the role of the infamous criminal.

The story is set when Capone is 47 and, having spent nearly a decade in prison, has seen dementia rot his mind with harrowing memories of his violent past coming back to haunt him.

Taking to Instagram this week, Hardy has posted some behind-the-scenes photos offering a first look at his transformation into Capone along with some other shots taken whilst filming.

Linda Cardellini, Matt Dillon, Kyle MacLachlan, and Kathrine Narducci co-star in the film which hasn’t set a release date as yet:
