Following on from the first shot of Olivia Coleman as Queen Elizabeth, Netflix has released more official images of the new cast in the third season of “The Crown”.
Today’s photos include the first look at Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret and Ben Daniels as Anthony Armstrong-Jones (Lord Snowden). Carter and Daniels take over the roles of the troubled couple from Vanessa Kirby and Matthew Goode.
The trio joins Tobias Menzies replacing Matt Smith as Prince Philip, while Josh O’Connor and Erin Doherty will take on the roles of Prince Charles and Princess Anne respectively. The new season, which will be shot back-to-back with the fourth, will take place during 1964 and 1972.
“The Crown” returns on Netflix sometime in 2019.
