EON Productions, MGM and Sony Pictures have released some official cast images of Daniel Craig, Lea Seydoux and Dave Bautista in the Austrian alps during filming of scenes there for “Spectre,” the twenty-fourth entry in the James Bond franchise.
Filming took place over the weekend on the cold waters of Lake Altausseer See where Craig was seen filming a scene standing alone on a long wooden boat on a lake, surrounded by a snowy forest. Photos of that shoot are up at The Daily Mail.
These shots were snapped in Solden, Austria – a place known for its skiing, especially around the Rettenbach glacier. The production is expected to film scenes along the glacier road and tunnel, along with making use of a cable car system.
In other Bond news, Deadline reports that Bond series producer Danjaq has filed for a dismissal of their copyright infringement lawsuit against Universal over the latter’s “Section 6” project. The legal action against screenwriter Aaron Berg over the WW1 spy project has also reportedly been ‘dismissed without prejudice’.
