Blending practical effects, performance capture, and digital magic, the creature is one of hundreds of species seen in the film and Besson reportedly created a 600-page bible that answers practically any question that anyone may have about this universe that has been constructed based on the iconic French comic series. That includes includes intimate details about every alien species that exists in the film.
The Kortan Dahuk are from a three sun planet and have a powerful appreciation for art which makes them one of the best traveled species in the universe as they search out new cultures.
