The currently untitled Han Solo prequel film, the second of the “A Star Wars Story” anthology features following this year’s “Rogue One,” is still very much in pre-production with a lead not yet officially cast.
That hasn’t stopped co-directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller from celebrating ‘Star Wars Day’ by tweeting a new photo from behind-the-scenes of the character’s DL-44 heavy blaster pistols.
The likes of Alden Ehrenreich, Jack Raynor, and Taron Egerton are said to still be vying for the coveted role with “Hail Caesar” star Ehrenreich the front runner. The new film opens May 2018.
