Michelle Pfeiffer and Helena Bonham Carter are looking to join Tim Burton’s film adaptation of the 60’s gothic soap opera “Dark Shadows” for Warner Bros. Pictures reports Heat Vision.
Pfeiffer is in negotiations to play Elizabeth Collins Stoddard, the owner of the Collinwood estate. Carter is circling the role of Dr. Julia Hoffman, who specializes in rare blood disorders and moves into the estate to try and help the vampire Barnabas Collins (Johnny Depp) cure his blood lust.
Carter hasn’t officially entered into talks for the role yet. Burton will direct from a script by Seth Grahame-Smith and John August.
