Envision Media Arts has begun development of an animated film based on the 88-year-old tablet-shaped chalk candy PEZ and its iconic pop culture-influenced dispensers.
Cameron Fay (“Brother in Laws”) will write the screenplay, while Lee Nelson and David Buelow will produce.
EMA CEO Nelson says: “Pez candy is beloved by children and adults alike. With Cameron Fay we’ve created a world unique to Pez and a story that will touch the hearts of many”
EMA recently wrapped the Eddie Murphy and Britt Robertson drama “Henry Joseph Church,” and arguably their most famous work to date has been 2012 Sundance hit “Celeste and Jesse Forever”.
