Peyton Reed (“The Break-Up,” “Bring It On”) is set to direct “The Fifth Beatle” a film adaptation of Vivek J. Tiwary’s graphic novel of the same name.
The project is described as a human story chronicling the life of Beatles manager Brian Epstein who died at the age of 32. Tony Award-winning producer Tiwary is penning the script for the film.
This marks the first feature about The Beatles to obtain the rights to use their original songs. Bruce Cohen and Tiwary are producing.
Actors are now being sought for roles, with filming to begin next year.
