“X-Men: Apocalypse” actor Evan Peters has revealed that he likes the idea of his character Quciksilver teaming up with Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool for a standalone film.
The standout character of the last two “X-Men” films with his astonishing standalone sequences, the silver speedster has won a lot of fans and The Wrap recently asked him an obvious question – will fans ever get a solo Quicksilver film? Those sequences are famously difficult and time-consuming to shoot, which he admits makes the prospect of a full movie daunting:
“Oh my god, I don’t know. It would take three years to shoot, wouldn’t it? Yeah I don’t know, I would love to do that… I would like to see a Deadpool/Quicksilver movie, I think that would be really fun.”
Peters is also returning for the sixth season of FX’s “American Horror Story,” revealing that he didn’t know what character he would play this time around:
“I don’t know anything unfortunately. I know a little bit, but I don’t know anything. I haven’t seen a script, I haven’t talked to anyone about it. When you know, let me know. I would love to know. I’m pretty sure we started shooting last Tuesday, but I don’t know, we’ll see. The mystery of ‘Horror Story’ continues.”
The new season of AHS is scheduled to premiere this Fall.
