Zac Efron is going to grow up into Matthew Perry.
Former “Friends” and “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip” star Perry will play a grown-up version of Efron in New Line’s teen comedy “17” reports Reuters.
The Jason Filardi-penned script follows a middle-age father who wakes up to find he’s 17 again. In order to be close to his children, he enrolls in the same school as them.
Leslie Mann also stars as Perry’s wife, whilst Burr Steers directs the project. Production begins early next month.
