Pennypacker’s “Pax” Gets Adapted For Film

Sidney Kimmel Entertainment has won a bidding war and scored the film rights to “Clementine” author Sara Pennypacker’s critically acclaimed NY Times bestseller “Pax”.

The story follows a boy separated from his pet fox, and their independent struggles to return to each other in the face of a devastating war.

Pennypacker was inspired by children injured, displaced and orphaned by wars around the globe and was inspired to write a novel that explores the costs of war, especially to children.
