Pena, Swardson To Take “30 Minutes”

Michael Pena and Nick Swardson are in negotiations to join the comedy “30 Minutes or Less” for Media Rights Capital and Universal Pitures says The Hollywood Reporter.

The story centers on a junior high history teacher (Aziz Ansari) and a pizza-delivery man who are forced into robbing a bank when one of them becomes strapped to a bomb vest. Danny McBride also stars.

Pena will play a tatooed assassin, while Swardson will play McBride’s best friend. Michael Diliberti and Matthew Sullivan wrote the script.

Ruben Fleischer (“Zombieland”) directs the project which starts shooting this summer.
