Simon Pegg, David Krumholtz and Nastassja Kinski are in talks to join Quentin Tarantino’s WWII drama “Inglorious Bastards” reports the trades.
Brad Pitt is now officially set to star as a Southern rebel who leads a band of eight Jewish American soldiers as they exact vengeance on Nazis in German-occupied France. While Pitt will speak English in his role, much of the dialogue is in French or German which will be subtitled.
Pegg would play a British lieutenant, Krumholtz would play Pitt’s underlings and Kinski would play a German movie queen. Tim Roth had been in talks to join the cast but had to bow out due to scheduling conflicts.
Shooting is now slated to begin October 13th in Germany.
