Peacock To Pen The Benghazi Six

“The Chronicles of Narnia” scribe Ann Peacock is in talks to pen a screenplay about ‘the Benghazi Six’, five nurses and a doctor who were apparently tortured into confessing that they’d infected 460 Libyan children with HIV reports The Guardian.

Sixth Sense Productions Inc (“Hotel Rwanda”) has bought the life rights from the five Bulgarian nurses and a Palestinian doctor, who were freed last month after eight years of imprisonment and various complex legal and political battles.

The workers have always maintained their innocence and claim they were tortured into confessing they had intentionally started the epidemic. If the film goes ahead, it would be titled The Benghazi Six after the Libyan city where the medics worked in 1998.
