Paul Walker’s Brothers Want “Furious” Return

Paul Walkers Brothers Want Furious Return

With the passing of Paul Walker during the making of “Furious 7,” it was left up to his brothers Caleb and Cody Walker as stand-ins and some CG trickery to help finish off that film and the story arc for Walker’s character Brian O’Connor who effectively left the film franchise.

Now, speaking with AP Wire, the pair reveal they hope they can return for one last appearance to honor Paul. Caleb says: “I just hope we get to… have a little cameo and bring Paul back to save the day and I get to help create that again. That’s my dream and I hope we get to do that in one of the future movies.”

Cody added: “I think there could potentially be a way to do it. But it would take a lot of thought and it’d have to be tasteful. It would have to be tasteful. He was the real deal, the real car guy. And in his absence, I think it’s lost its way in a big way.”

The franchise hasn’t made any indication they plan to bring the character back anytime soon. The main film series has long been targeting a total of ten films in all, not including the upcoming spin-off “Hobbs & Shaw”. A short appearance in the tenth film would seem fitting. The ninth film is said to be targeting a 2020 release with the tenth currently slated for 2021 (though likely to change).
