One of the most anticipated films in cinephile circles is the long-awaited re-teaming of “There Will Be Blood” actor Daniel Day-Lewis with filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson for a new film which hasn’t yet scored a title.
We know it is set in the couture world of 1950s London and has Day-Lewis playing an uncompromising dressmaker commissioned by royalty and high society. Beyond that, there’s pretty much nothing else we’re aware of.
Now, Focus Features has confirmed at CinemaCon that the new film is definitely coming this Christmas which means they definitely see it as having awards season potential. No footage from the film was screened at the convention sadly.
