Netflix has ordered eight episodes of the scripted comedy series “Living With Yourself” with Paul Rudd attached to star and executive produce.
Emmy and Peabody award winner Timothy Greenberg is also onboard the project which hails from Little Miss Sunshine” directors Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris who will also executive produce.
Rudd plays the dual role of a man struggling with his life who undergoes a novel treatment to become a better person, and finds he’s been replaced by a new and improved version — revealing that his own worst enemy is himself.
Additional casting will be announced at a later date. Greenberg executive produces with Anthony Bregman and Jeff Stern.
Netflix has also announced “The Patriot Act,” a new comedy series from stand-up talent Hasan Minhaj. The streamer has committed to thirty-two episodes of the show which will debut on October 28th.
Minhaj becomes the first Indian-American host of a weekly comedy show. The show will explore the modern cultural and political landscape with ‘depth and sincerity’.
