Paul Anderson Tackling “Monster Hunter”?

He adapted “Mortal Kombat” and “Resident Evil”, now helmer Paul W.S. Anderson is allegedly looking at bringing another video game franchise to the big screen.

The Playlist (via PDC) says Anderson and ‘Resident’ game series producer Capcom are considering adapting the latter’s “Monster Hunter” game series into a potential film franchise.

The fantasy/action RPGs follow a hunter in a fantasy environment who hunts and attempts to capture monsters. Since its debut in 2004, the multiple games in the series have sold a combined 21 million units.
