Paramount Pictures has delayed the release of the fifth “Paranormal Activity” film yet again. At last report it was slated for release on October 24th, now it has been pushed back an extra five months and will hit cinemas on March 13th 2015.
The film has also scored a new title – “Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension”. In its new date it will go up against Disney’s “Cinderella” and Warners’ “Heart of the Sea”.
The story follows a new family comprised of a video game designer, his wife, his younger brother and his 6-year-old daughter whose new house is the subject of supernatural evil.
Gregory Plotkin helms fro a script by Jason Pagan and Andrew Stark. No cast is yet confirmed.
Due to the move, Paramount has also had to shift its action comedy “Scouts Vs. Zombies” up. It was to open on March 13th next year, but will now open a few weeks earlier on February 20th.
