Paramount Re-Imagines “Huck” Finn

Paramount Pictures has picked up Andy Burg’s spec script “Huck”, a film that’s said to be a re-imagining of Mark Twain’s characters Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer in the vein of the upcoming “Snow White and the Huntsman” reports Heat Vision.

The story will focus on mischievous teenagers Sawyer and Finn as adults, while supernatural elements also come into play.

No word if it will stick to the 19th century period setting or shift the action to more contemporary times. Peter Chernin, Dylan Clark and Matt Lopez are producing.
