“Sicario” and “Hell or High Water” scribe Taylor Sheridan is set to pen and direct Paramount Network’s first original scripted series “Yellowstone”.
The story follows the Dutton family who controls the largest contiguous ranch in the United States, a ranch under constant attack by those it borders including land developers, an Indian reservation, and America’s first National Park.
The project is described as an intense study of a violent world far from media scrutiny. A place where land developers make billions, and politicians are bought and sold by the world’s largest oil and lumber corporations.
Ten one-hour episodes will begin production this fall and will debut on the network next Summer.
