Paramount Pictures and JJ Abrams’ Bad Robot are developing a biopic about disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong.
The company’s have secured the rights to New York Times reporter Juliet Macur’s upcoming work “Cycle of Lies: The Fall of Lance Armstrong” due out in June.
Macur covered Armstrong’s career for over a decade. No director, writer, star or start date have been set.
This follows in the wake of Armstrong’s two-part interview with Oprah Winfrey this week in which he admitted to using performance-enhancing drugs to reach his historic victories.
