Palmer Enters The “Spirit House”

Chase Palmer, the scribe penning Pierre Morel’s upcoming adaptation of “Dune” at Paramount, has been hired to adapt Christopher G. Moore’s 1992 mystery novel “Spirit House” for FilmNation Entertainment reports Risky Biz Blog.

The first in an eleven-novel series, the stories follow a half-Jewish half-Italian private eye living in Bangkok named Vincent Calvino. ‘Spirit’ has Calvino looking to the murder of a British computer wizard which a young drug addict has confessed to.

Calvino doesn’t believe his story and goes diving into the dark underside of the Thai capital where he encounters killers, pushers, hookers and various other types who all have their own agendas.
