Pair Return For “Silent Hill” Sequel

“Silent Hill” scribe Roger Avary and producer Samuel Hadida have signed on for a sequel to their 2006 horror video game adaptation for Davis Films says The Hollywood Reporter.

The first film centered on a woman (Radha Mitchell) who travels to a desolate town to seek help for her ailing daughter only to find supernatural occurrences taking place there and the town itself seemingly stuck in an alternate reality.

Davis Films will shoot the project next year once it completes work on a fourth “Resident Evil” which is currently in pre-production.

Avary is also penning video game adaptation “Return to Castle Wolfenstein” for Davis Films.
