Oscar Isaac Joins Gomez-Rejon’s “Foreigner”

Oscar Isaac is officially on board to star in the thriller “A Foreigner” for Paramount Pictures. Shooting on the project will kick off this Fall after Isaac has wrapped up his work on both Rian Johnson’s “Star Wars: Episode VIII” and Alex Garland’s “Annihilation”.

The film revolves around a murdered Guatemalan man who arranges for videos of his killers to be distributed after his death in order to uproot the corruption that has led to other killings.

Alfonso Gomez-Rejon (“Me and Earl and the Dying Girl”) will direct the movie from a script by Chris Terrio (“Argo”) while Steve Zaillian, Steven Rales, Garrett Basch, Mark Roybal and Mark Johnson are producing.
