“Orphan,” “Veep,” “Orange,” “Bill Nye” Set Premieres

A whole bunch of series just announced the premiere dates of their new seasons.

HBO has set an April 16th premiere date for the sixth season of the Julia Louis-Dreyfus led comedy “Veep”. Amazon has set an April 28th premiere for the third season of “Catastrophe”. And finally BBC America has set a June 10th premiere for the fifth and final season of “Orphan Black”.

Next up, Netflix has been busy with no less than five series setting dates, starting with a third season of “Chef’s Table” on February 17th, and the ten half-hour episode TV series adaptation of Justin Simien’s 2014 film “Dear White People” hitting the streamer on April 28th.

The fifth season of “Orange is the New Black will debut on June 9th, while the new series “Anne” starring Amybeth McNulty has secured a May 12th premiere date.

Finally Netflix has revealed the series trailer for their new talk show “Bill Nye Saves the World” with the famed scientist, engineer, comedian, author and inventor’s new show kicking off April 21st.

Each episode will tackle a topic from a scientific point of view, dispelling myths, and refuting anti-scientific claims that may be espoused by politicians, religious leaders or titans of industry.
