O’Connell Seeks “Money,” Law Joins “Knights”

Two or Britain’s finest have scored new projects. Rising star Jack O’Connell (“Unbroken,” “Starred Up”) and Julia Roberts (“Pretty Woman”) are circling roles in Jodie Foster’s financial thriller “Money Monster” at TriStar Pictures.

George Clooney plays a TV personality taken hostage by a desperate blue-collar gunman live on the air. Filming begins next year.

Meanwhile, Jude Law is in negotiations to join Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur franchise launcher “Knights of the Roundtable” at Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow.

Charlie Hunnam stars as Arthur and Àstrid Berges-Frisbey as Guinevere in the new take on the Arthurian legend. Joby Harold penned the script with a July 22nd 2016 release planned.
