Jack O’Connell (“Unbroken”), Charlie Hunnam (“Pacific Rim”) and Jessica Barden (“The End of the F–king World”) are set to star in “Jungleland” at Romulus Entertainment, Big Red Films and Scott Free.
The story follows a reluctant bareknuckle boxer (O’Connell) and his brother (Hunnam) who must travel across the country for one last fight, but an unexpected travel companion (Barden) exposes the cracks in their bond along the way.
Max Winkler (“Flower,” “Ceremony”) is helming the project which just began production this week in Massachusetts. Winkler co-wrote the script with Theodore B. Bressman and David Branson Smith. Brad Feinstein, Jules Daly, Kevin Walsh and Ryan Stowell produce.
