Nottingham Delayed A Year?

Ridley Scott’s revisionist take on the Robin Hood legend will take a little longer to get to screen says The Hollywood Reporter.

Production on “Nottingham”, originally scheduled to begin shooting in a few weeks, has been indefinitely postponed and probably won’t get back and up and running until well into 2009.

Script concerns, location problems and the threat of a SAG strike all combined have Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment concerned enough to shut everything down for now and wouldn’t be able to resume until next spring.

Universal, Imagine, Scott and Crowe all remain committed to the project who’s November 6th 2009 release date is no longer viable.
