Following in the same path that he did with “The Dark Knight,” “The Dark Knight Returns” and “Dunkirk,” filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s highly secretive “Tenet” film is reportedly set to release an extended prologue sequence exclusively for IMAX screens in coming weeks and a full seven months out from the film’s opening.
Trailer Track reports that said clip, dubbed “Tenet: Prologue (2019)” and categorised as “short subject” has been rated PG-13 for “violence and intense action”. The runtime is still unknown.
Best guesses are the clip will be attached to IMAX screenings of “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” in just over three weeks time, following in the footsteps of Nolan’s last film “Dunkirk” which attached its prologue reel to copies of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” in 2016.
John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clemence Poesy, Michael Caine and Kenneth Branagh star in the mysterious film which opens July 17th.
