“Nightmare Before Christmas 2” Becomes A Comic

Manga publisher Tokyopop has reportedly scored the rights to produce “Nightmare Before Christmas: Zero’s Journey,” a comic sequel to Henry Selick and Tim Burton’s 1993 stop-motion film “The Nightmare Before Christmas”.

The story will follow Zero the ghost dog, Jack Skellington’s loyal companion, who has become lost in Christmas Town. The first volumes are expected to be released in the Spring.

DJ Milky will pen and Studio DICE will craft the art for the series which will feature full-color single issues followed by full-color trade paperbacks and black and white ‘pocket-sized’ manga volumes.
