“Goat” and “Kingdom” star Nick Jonas is in talks to join Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart and Jack Black in the Jake Kasdan-directed “Jumanji” reboot at Sony Pictures.
The original 1995 film is based on Chris Van Allsburg’s book and starred Robin Williams and dealt with a board game that could bring jungle animals to life – and subsequently cause havoc.
Kasdan will direct a script by Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner. Matt Tolmach is producing the film which is targeting a July 28th 2017 release. Shooting starts next month in Honolulu.
