Next “Spider-Man” Delays Marvel Solo Films

With Spider-Man officially joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe and getting his own new standalone film on July 28th 2017, the move has had a knock on effect on Marvel Studios’ release slate with many of its projects getting half-year (or longer) delays.

“Thor: Ragnarok” will now arrive nearly four months later on November 3rd 2017. “Black Panther” has been delayed eight months and will now open July 6th 2018. “Captain Marvel” now opens November 2nd 2018 and the “Inhumans” movie has now been pushed to July 12th 2019.

The two-part “Avengers: Infinity War” remains set for its original release dates of May 4th 2018 and May 3rd 2019. Here is their schedule as it now stands:

May 1st 2015: “Avengers: Age of Ultron”
July 17th 2015: “Ant-Man”
May 6th 2016: “Captain America: Civil War”
November 4th 2016: “Doctor Strange”
May 5th 2017: “Guardians of the Galaxy 2”
July 28th 2017: “Untitled Spider-Man Reboot”
November 3rd 2017: “Thor: Ragnarok”
May 4th 2018: “Avengers: Infinity War Part 1”
