“Westworld” star Thandie Newton has teased her role in the upcoming young Han Solo “Star Wars” spin-off series.
Talking about her work so far on the film’s UK set, she tells The Wrap: “It’s fantastic, I’m loving it. It’s different from anything else I have done or am doing. I can’t tell you [any more]. It’s just different, OK? It’s just really different”
Newton joined the cast of the “Star Wars” spinoff earlier this year, adding to the previously announced Donald Glover, Emilia Clarke and Alden Ehrenreich in the titular role.
Also, Canarias 7 has posted some photos from a set from the production at Jandia Natural Park on Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands.
The report claims that this set is actually Solo’s hometown of Corellia where residents live among the remains of old ships and other pieces of “intergalactic scrap” which gives the set a “junkyard feel”.
The Han Solo film is due out May next year.
