Steve Martin has joined Nancy Meyers' untitled romantic comedy for Universal Pictures says Variety.

Martin and Alec Baldwin will play rivals for the affection of a woman (Meryl Streep). Shooting is scheduled to begin in February.

Scott Rudin is producing along with Meyers (Something's Gotta Give, Father of the Bride) who wrote and will direct.
