Warner Bros. Pictures has signed Steve Carell's Carousel Productions to a three-year first-look deal says Variety.

Carell plans to produce pics that will not be starring vehicles for him. He is currently shooting the fifth season of "The Office" and is attached with Tina Fey to play a married couple in the 20th Century Fox comedy "Date Night."

The studio is also mobilizing a "Get Smart" sequel for Carell to return as Maxwell Smart, but it is not part of the new overall deal.
