Warner Bros. Pictures is developing a feature film version of the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon "Yogi Bear" reports Variety.

Ash Brannon ("Surf's Up") will helm the live-action/animated hybrid that will essentially be live-action, though have Yogi Bear and sidekick Boo Boo rendered in CG.

Like the show, Yogi's exploits take place in Jellystone Park where he and Boo Boo get into good-natured mischief and must elude their nemesis, Ranger Smith.

"That '70s Show" executive producers Joshua Sternin and Jeffrey Ventimilia are penning the script for De Line Pictures.
