  • Hulk, Lantern, Avengers Updates
    By Garth FranklinTuesday, September 16th 2008 1:10am
image Edward Norton admits that he's got no clue as to his or the Incredible Hulk's involvement in future Marvel films - "The minds of Marvel are sometimes opaque. I won't say [they're] obtuse, but I don't have any idea what they want to do...They've got this notion of collecting the Marvel characters. Who knows where they'll go."

Meanwhile, scribe Marc Guggenheim has been working on the long developing "Green Lantern" film and tells ComicCon.Com that "I will tell you it features Hal Jordan and is an incredibly faithful rendition of the character. It honors everything everyone loves about the hero. We approach it from a fan's perspective. Every step of the way, we ask ourselves what we want to see and what the fans will want to see. I think we have a script that will actually satisfy on those levels. Right now I'm just doing a rewrite for the studio with Greg [Berlanti] and Michael [Green]. We'll turn that in next week."

Finally, "Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria was seen leaving Marvel Comics head offices on Friday carrying a copy of "The Avengers" comic which has led to speculation that she'll play Janet Van Dyne (aka. The Wasp) a founding member and eventual wife of 'Ant-Man' Hank Pym.
