Bobby Moresco will direct, produce and co-write "Castro's Daughter" for Artists Relations Group says Variety.

The story centers on the former Cuban leader's exiled illegitimate daughter Alina Fernández Revuelta, who fled to Spain in 1993 using false papers and disguised as a Spanish tourist using a wig.

From Spain, she moved to Miami and published her life story in 1998 which describes in intimate detail her life growing up in Cuba and the changes that occurred within the country under Castro's rule.

Pulitzer Prize winner Nilo Cruz will co-write the script and shooting will take place next year.
